Refund Policy
General Policy
Parking sessions purchased through Geaux Parking are non-refundable once the transaction is completed. Your session activates immediately upon successful payment and cannot be cancelled, paused, or transferred to another vehicle or lot.
This applies to both initial parking sessions and session extensions.
When We May Issue a Refund
We may approve a refund at our sole discretion in the following situations:
- System error: A verified technical issue caused an incorrect charge (wrong amount, wrong lot, or failed session creation despite payment).
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same parking session due to a processing error.
- Lot unavailable: The lot was shown as active at checkout but was physically closed, gated, or otherwise inaccessible at the time of your arrival.
What Is Not Refundable
- Change of plans after purchasing a session.
- Leaving the lot earlier than expected.
- Inability to find an open space (a session grants the right to park, not a reserved spot).
- Entering incorrect plate or vehicle information.
- Parking citations issued by the lot operator or any third party.
- Session extensions.
How to Request a Refund
Email us at support@geauxparking.com within 24 hours of your purchase. Include:
- The email address used at checkout.
- The lot name or code.
- A brief description of the issue.
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us before filing a dispute with your bank or credit card provider. Most issues can be resolved faster through direct communication. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may delay resolution and could result in restrictions on future use of the Platform.
